Making your home safe and sound is what we do

Your home is your palace—a safe, solid place that’s just for you. But like most things, buildings don’t last forever. Over time, things can start to go wrong—and in some cases, it’s structural. Foundations shift. Walls crack. Damp creeps in.

The hardest part? Knowing who to call when something serious shows up.

That’s where Buildfix comes in.

Changing the way homes are repaired — led by structural engineers

Most homeowners just want the root cause fixed—permanently, and without blowing the budget. Traditionally, that meant hiring a structural engineer. But these days, most engineers don’t actually fix anything. At best, they point you in the right direction—then leave you to find someone else to do the work. And if it goes wrong, who’s responsible?

Even when you do find a licensed builder or tradie, chances are they’re not specialists in structural home repairs and your job is just a one off. That’s a problem.

Buildfix is led by structural engineers

It might sound novel, but it shouldn’t be. Buildfix is led by engineers who specialise in fixing structural issues in homes—permanently.

Here’s what that means for you:

“I wish we got them in sooner!”

They were very thorough with measuring levels as the piers were lifting. Much care was taken when closing up cornices, getting the carpentry plumb and ensuring that all the doors were opening and closing. I wish we got them in sooner!

The Buildfix Difference: We Even Manufacture Our Own Products

It’s rare to have your home assessed and repaired by the same team of engineers and technicians—and rarer still that the products used are made in-house by that same company. But that’s what we do. Buildfix is the only company in Australia with this unique capability.

We didn’t set out to be manufacturers. But we had to. Why?

Quality

Off-the-shelf or cheap imported materials just didn’t cut it. We know exactly what goes in to our products.

Guarantee

We back our products for 20 years—we can only genuinely do this if we make them. If not, it’s just a gimmick.

Cost Saving

By making our own products in-house, we cut out the middleman and pass the savings on to you.

Is it too good to be true ?

So if you’ve seen reviews saying Buildfix was cheaper than other quotes or heard our prices seem too good to be true—we’re not cutting corners. We just don’t have the same overheads, and we pass those savings on to you. And if that means more money stays in your pocket—we’re all for it.
