Pool Surround Relevelled — No Tiles Lifted
Sinking pool surround — a safety concern that was getting worse
The concrete and tiled surround around this Ormeau pool had seen better days. Sections had sunk, leaving noticeable height differences and uneven edges. In a space that’s used daily and almost always wet, it had become a genuine safety concern — and it was only getting worse.

Sharp lips between tiles — bare feet and wet surfaces
The ground beneath the pool surround had lost support, allowing parts of the slab to settle away from the rest of the paved area. Sharp lips between tiles and inconsistent levels were hard to spot — especially around water, where bare feet and wet surfaces are the norm.
The repair also needed to be done carefully. No damage to the existing tiles. No disruption to the pool structure itself. Ripping up the tiled surround and re-laying it would have been expensive, slow, and unnecessary.

GeoPoly™ injected beneath the tiled surface — no tiles disturbed
Injection points were drilled beneath the tiled surface. GeoPoly™ SJ120 resin was injected under the slab, filling voids, compacting the ground, and gently lifting the pool surround back into position. The levels were corrected without pulling up a single tile or disturbing the pool.

Level, safe, and every tile intact
The pool surround was level again — smooth, safe, and consistent underfoot. The uneven edges that had been a daily hazard around water were gone.
