Our Technology

GeoPoly™ PSR30

Geopolymer resin that stabilises sinking floor piers and relevels timber floors — without removing floorboards or replacing piers. Done in 1–2 days.

The resin that relevels floors without replacing piers

GeoPoly™ PSR30 is Buildfix's pier stabilisation resin — a geopolymer (that's what the P in PSR stands for) injected into the ground around sinking stumps and piers beneath timber floors. It's the technology behind Buildfix's floor pier repairs and stump lifting solutions. As the resin expands, it compacts the soil and lifts each pier back into firm contact with the bearer above. Floors level out, bounce stops, doors close properly again. Done in 1–2 days, through holes smaller than a two-dollar coin.

The old approach? Rip up floorboards, jack up the house, pull out every pier, pour new concrete footings, and drop in new stumps. Weeks of work, tens of thousands of dollars — and the new piers sit on the same failed ground that caused the problem in the first place. GeoPoly™ PSR30 fixes the ground, not just the pier. The resin expands to 15 times its volume, sets in 90 seconds, and creates a permanent, load-bearing mass beneath each stump.

Geopolymer Resin

Material

GeoPoly™ PSR30 is a geopolymer — not a polyurethane foam. It’s mineral-based, cures into a solid, rock-like mass underground, and won’t degrade, shrink, or wash away over time. That’s why the repair lasts.
