The reinforcement that makes cracked walls stronger than new
HelicalBar™ R304 is a high-tensile stainless steel bar bonded into the mortar joints of cracked masonry walls. It's the technology behind Buildfix's wall crack repair solution, including crack stitching. It doesn't just bridge the crack — it extends several metres beyond it in both directions, tying the damaged section back to solid brickwork. What was the weakest point in the wall becomes the strongest.
The bars are roughly 100 times tougher than the bricks they’re bonded to. Triple-finned, 6mm helix profile, grouted into slots cut along the mortar joints. No bricks removed. No walls knocked down. Once the joints are filled and colour-matched, you won’t know the repair happened.
